Shukhrat Ismoilovich Bobokhujaev was born in Nurota village of Nurota locality in the Samarkand region. In 1985 he graduated from St. Petersburg Polytechnic State University named after Peter the Great, majoring in "Metallurgy and Technology of Welding Production" and was awarded the qualification of a metallurgical engineer. In 1993 he graduated from the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov and received a second higher education in the specialization of "Foreign Economic Management" with the assignment of a specialist in international business. Sh. I. Bobokhujaev has extensive practical experience in various fields (such as production, banking and finance, financial and stock markets, etc.). He worked at the St. Petersburg Production Association “Arsenal”, the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, the Tashkent Production Association “Tashkent Excavator”, the Tashkent Experimental Station of the Ministry of Industry of Uzbekistan Republic, the Republican Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Agrobank”, the Republican Stock Exchange “Tashkent”, the Republican School of Business of the State Committee for Competition of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Financial Institute, the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
