In 2005, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis on "Development of thermocatalytic methods and devices for detection of toxic and explosive gases". His research interests include analytical chemistry, gas analysis, control of environmental objects, sol-gel synthesis of gas-sensitive materials for chemical sensors, and synthesis of flame retardants. To date, he has published over 500 scientific papers: 16 articles in Scopus and Web of Science. He is the author of 12 manuals, 2 textbooks, 2 textbooks and 6 monographs.
