Dr. Shirin Noekhah is an Assistant Professor who focuses on teaching activities and participates actively in research. She has over 12 years of teaching experience and three years of IT industry experience. She has produced various scientific research publications. Her area of study ranges from Information Retrieval, Database Systems, Software Engineering, Software reliability, Spam Detection, Text Mining, and Big Data. She has received the excellence award for her VOmputer Science doctoral research in proposing a relatively new model for opinion spam detection. She did her Master’s degree in Computer Science and worked on the “Software Reliability Prediction” domain. Her academic teaching experience, besides her IT industry experience, has made her an influential researcher and instructor
