Biography

Younghun Jung, Ph.D., is a Professor and the Head, Department of Design at the Korean Institute of Technology and Culture, Samarkand International University of Technology (SIUT) in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. He earned his Ph.D. in Visual Communication Design from the Department of Design and Craft, Graduate School at Hongik University in Seoul, Republic of Korea (2023). He has worked in the fields of Graphic Design, Typography, Typeface Design, and Editorial Design. Additionally, he served as a Adjunct Professor at Yeungnam University (2020-2023) in Gyeongsan, and Hongik University (2019-2023) in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
