The monograph discusses methods for monitoring the state of track sections. Particular attention is paid to seamless track chains. Promising track circuits for areas with low insulation resistance are given. The theory and analysis of jointless track circuits with potential and current track receivers are considered. Mathematical models of jointless track circuits in the main modes of their operation have been developed.
