Abstract

Objective. The article discusses measures to increase efficiency of passenger traffic in Namangan and solution of its digitization. Methods. Out of 36 bus routes in Namangan, 21 passed through A.Navoi Street, and a proposal was developed to run their routes through B.Mashrab, Hamroh, Turakurgan and Akhsi streets. Results. As a result of research and observations, the introduction of the most efficient bus rapid transit (BRT) system in some passenger routes will increase the efficiency of passenger traffic, traffic congestion, traffic flow management. As a result of the changes, 9 bus routes will run in full on A. Navoi Street, and 7 routes will run in part. It was proposed to use 3 routes from B. Mashrab Street, 2 routes from N. Namongoniy Street, and 3 routes from Hamroh Street. Conclusion. Based on this, it would be expedient to establish an expressway (Bus Rapid Transit – BRT) on the allotted lane along A. Navoi Street in Namangan.
