Abstract

The article presents a picture of the dependence of mentality on regional environmental factors. The processes of formation of environmental mentality, the patterns of influence of the mentality of the population, business, and government agencies on the emergence and development of environmental problems are analyzed. It is shown that it is the traditional mentality that is largely the cause of the emergence and escalation of conflict situations. The principles of consistent greening of the mentality of the population, business, and government bodies are outlined.
