The article discusses the mental state of children aged 5-6 and their opportunities to develop "creative thinking" skills. Considering the beginning of the period of Jigurative thinking, understanding thinking in children of this age, it is indicated in them that it is expedient to use painting, *uiic anil artistic-creative games for theformation of imagination and t'creatig:e thinking" skills. For this parpose, th.e national dances of the Uzbek people can be used, such' tis'"Andijan polka", "Khoreun lezgisi', reciting epics, Iistening to moqom, as well as interesting games such as ,, white poplar - blue poplar,found - ball ". Exercises that stimulate strong emotions and strengthen the imagination of children aged 5-6 years, such as "A trip to the 4oo", "A trip to the garden', have a positive effict on the formation of "creative thinking" skills. As a result of these exereises, it was recornmended to use an "Mind Map', which, according to its structure, resembles a chain structure of neurons that is formed when the brain analyzes data. It is also easier to learn foreign languages (Russian, Engtish, German) by using a mind map. It was also discussed the possibility of ,using theMind Map to reach their pinrs in the fteld of speech by activafing the sensory channels of children with speech defects.
