Antiarrhythmic drugs (medicines) are drugs that normalize the disturbed rhythm of cardiac activity. In some cases, it becomes necessary to combine antiarrhythmic drugs of various classes, including in resistant forms of rhythm disorders. Methods for the determination of antiarrhythmic drugs by thin-layer chromatography have been developed; optimal conditions have been selected for chromatographic screening of amiodarone, allapinine, atenolol, propafenone and etacizine to determine them in biological fluids.
