The article examines a method for constructing sensors (optoelectronic converters) that detect and control the geometric dimensions and volumes of objects with non-standard shapes in technological and other processes. The conditions for the conformity of the form of a non-standard object with the form of a standard object are considered. A block diagram of an optoelectronic converter with a set of intersecting vertical and horizontal photodiodes controlling the geometric dimensions and volumes of objects of various non-standard shapes is described. The results of the research study will make it possible to design highly sensitive optoelectronic converters of control objects with non-standard and complex shapes.
