The contribution of home front workers - natives of the Urals and workers of Uzbekistan - to the victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War is reflected. The forms of labor that originated during the war are described. creativity: the movements of the two hundred and three hundred men, the creation of front-line brigades, the movement for austerity and the appropriate use of local resources, etc. This form of work of party and Soviet bodies to strengthen the connection between the rear and the front is revealed, such as the correspondence of the rear with the soldiers of the Red Army. Shown also the contribution of scientists of Uzbekistan to providing the front and the country with everyone necessary, the issues of training scientific and teaching personnel are covered; facts characterizing the creative community and co-creation of representatives of the creative intelligentsia are presented different peoples of the USSR.
