Formation of global competencies of primary schoolchildren in distance learning

Abstract

The relevance of the article is caused due to the need to implement priority strategies for the modernization of modern primary education, one of the main tasks of which is to create conditions for preparing the younger generation for interaction in a multicultural world in the context of globalization, which is the content of such a component of functional literacy as «global competencies». Primary school age is a sensitive period of social adaptation of the child, and therefore, at the stage of primary general education, it is necessary to familiarize him with the features of a multicultural world; learn to interact with people of other nationalities; evaluate and analyze issues related to the development of the region and the country; to form the ability to perceive and accept the peculiarities of the culture of different peoples. Due to the fact that the information environment of the Internet is one of the effective ways of intercultural interaction, these competencies can be formed using modern technologies, software and services in distance learning. The authors characterized the organizational forms of online classes, pedagogical methods and virtual didactic tools that contribute to the formation of global competencies of primary schoolchildren.
