This article discusses a method for reducing emissions of toxic and harmful substances into the environment through the use of a composite fuel mixture in vehicles with an internal combustion engine. When using composite fuel, that is, using hydrogen as an energy carrier, during operation, by increasing the energy efficiency of the car engine and improving its environmental performance, the following indicators are achieved: high speed and completeness of combustion of the fuel mixture; the ability to bring the mixture in real internal combustion engine operation closer to ideal by providing heat in a constant volume; and an analysis of the dependence of engine efficiency on the addition of hydrogen to the main fuel is presented.
