Potatoes are mainly used as a sweet and nutritious food, and consuming them in moderation also helps to better digest many of the foods consumed by humans. In European and Latin American countries, potatoes ranks second in the agriculture food balance after grain products. In Uzbekistan, the demand of population for potatoes and its satisfaction level is growing. In the process of recycling potatoes, starch and alcohol are obtained. They are mainly used in the manufacture of sweets and alcoholic beverages.
