The skill of using a metaphor of Erkin A'zam

Abstract

In this article, the linguistic essence, causes of occurrence, and pragmatic features of some metaphors used in Erkin A’zam’s novel “Shovqin” are highlighted. Additionally, the author’s individual skill in using metaphors to illuminate the mental state, inner experiences, and character of the person and to reveal the positive or negative attitudes of the heroes of the work to others and events in the environment is discussed
