The article proposes a system for supporting decision-making in medical and prophylactic work through a model for creating a knowledge base, a system for supporting decision-making in diagnosing diseases, using fuzzy-production cascading models and its algorithm based on the symptoms and signs of the disease. It is shown that the development of medical information systems using this model and its algorithms in practical applications improves the accuracy of diagnosis of diseases by assisting doctors to make diagnostic decisions in the provision of emergency medical care leading to an increase in the quality and effectiveness of medical care.
